Our Philosophy

A music company that cares about the life of a song — the work, the production, the rights, the business, and the catalog.

Songs Have Lives

At LifeTales Music, we believe songs have lives.

A song can begin with a thought, a memory, a conviction, a melody, a few words on a page, or a story that simply needs to be told. From there, it can grow through development, arrangement, production and performance until it is ready to enter the world as a finished recording.

But the life of a song is larger than any single recording, release, platform or moment in time.

The song is the enduring creative work at the center of everything we do. Our job is to respect where it came from, help it become what it can be, and give it the strongest opportunity to reach the people and places where it belongs.

Where Songs Begin

Every LifeTales Music song begins with a human songwriter.

The songwriter brings the ideas, experiences, stories, lyrics, melodies, emotion and creative intent that give a song its identity before anyone ever hears a finished release.

That human authorship matters.

Artists, producers, arrangements, recordings and presentation styles can all bring something powerful to a song, but they do not erase its origin. We believe the songwriter and the creative work should remain visible, respected and connected throughout the life of the music.

Helping Songs Grow

A promising song is not always a finished song.

Development is where ideas are tested, refined and strengthened. Lyrics may be sharpened. Melodies may evolve. Arrangements may take shape. Instrumentation, dynamics, structure and production direction may change as the music begins to reveal what it needs.

LifeTales Music approaches that process deliberately.

We nurture songs rather than rushing them. We make room for craftsmanship, judgment and creative refinement, with the goal of helping each song grow into the strongest expression of what its songwriter intended.

Not every song follows the same path. That is part of the point.

The work should serve the song.

Giving Songs a Voice

A recording gives a song a voice.

The artist or performance presentation gives that voice a particular sound, character, emotional identity and context.

Hunter Green, Liberty Covenant and MAX WATTAGE each bring their own musical world to the songs they present. Those identities matter. They help transform written and developed compositions into distinctive listening experiences with an audience, a sound and a meaningful first home.

Production matters, too.

The choices made in arrangement, performance, engineering, mixing and mastering help determine how a song finally communicates with the listener. We take those choices seriously because the finished recording should honor both the song and the presentation giving it voice.

Finding a Home — and Leaving Room for More

A first release is an important moment in the life of a song.

It gives the work a home, an identity and an opportunity to connect with listeners.

But it does not necessarily have to be the final chapter.

The right song may someday find another legitimate home through a different performer, a new interpretation, another recording, a cover, a collaboration, licensing, film or media placement, a compilation, a reissue or another opportunity that makes sense for the work.

That does not mean every song needs multiple versions or multiple homes. Nor does it diminish the artist or presentation that first brought the song to life for an audience.

It simply recognizes something we believe deeply: A strong song can continue creating value, meaning and connection long after its first release.

Caring for What We Build

Songs and recordings deserve responsible stewardship.

For LifeTales Music, that means caring about accurate attribution, preserving authoritative creative assets, maintaining clear catalog information, administering publishing and rights responsibly, and thinking beyond the needs of a single release campaign.

We are building a body of work intended to last.

That requires more than making music. It requires caring for what has been created so that songs, recordings and the people behind them are represented accurately and handled responsibly as the catalog grows.

Human Creativity. Modern Tools.

LifeTales Music embraces modern tools when they help human creative ideas become stronger finished work.

Technology can assist development, expand production possibilities and help create modern performance presentations. But technology serves the creative intent; it does not replace the human songwriter at the center of the song.

LifeTales Music does not use AI to write lyrics.

Our approach is human-led: original ideas, human songwriting, deliberate creative direction, experienced production judgment and final release work shaped by people who care about the music.

Principles for the Work

Our leadership is guided by Christian values, including faith, integrity, honesty, respect, responsibility, stewardship and service. Those principles shape how we conduct business, how we treat creative work and how we work with the people connected to it.

Songs & Songwriters

Honor the song as the central creative work and respect the human songwriter who brought it into the world.

Human-Led Creativity

Use technology in service of human creative intent, never as a substitute for authorship.

Craftsmanship & Originality

Develop meaningful work deliberately, allowing creativity, judgment and craftsmanship — not speed, imitation, algorithms or novelty — to lead the process.

Responsible Stewardship

Care for songs, recordings, rights, attribution and catalog assets as parts of a long-lived body of work.

Long-Term Purpose & Integrity

Build professionally, honestly, lawfully and responsibly, with the intention of creating work worthy of lasting beyond its first moment.

Songs have lives. • We help them grow. • Songs tell tales. • We give them voice.
